On May 23rd, I will be graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and a Certificate in Human Rights and Social Justice. Over the next year and a half, I will be working at the Excellence and Advancement Foundation, which is a nonprofit agency that’s dedicated to transforming how communities combat the school-to-prison pipeline and the system of mass incarceration. I will also be spending this summer applying to law schools with the hopes of beginning my law degree in the fall of 2021!


Dimitri is graduating from Lake Travis High School and will be attending Baylor University this Fall, on a Pre-Medicine Track. Dimitri participated in theater, soccer as a goalkeeper, Young Men’s Service League where he served as Vice President his senior year as well as the Life Skills and Philanthropy Chairs in previous years. He worked with the Principal as an office assistant and he was a National Honor Society member to name a few. He has also worked with his pediatrician, Dr. Brian Temple at his office seeing patients. He plans on going to medical school after attending Baylor and becoming a pediatrician or pediatric surgeon. Dimitri loves helping children.


Thanos is graduating from L. C. Anderson High School and will be attending Lynn University, in Boca Raton, Florida to pursue a degree in Sports Management. While in High School Thanos participated in Cross Country and Basketball He earned Academic All-State and Academic All-District for Cross Country and Academic All-District for Varsity Men’s Basketball.


Nicole is Graduating with Honors from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies with Minors in Psychology and Anthropology. She is a founder of the Climate Reality Project at the University of Miami and a member of the Model United Nations Team. Nicole had a wonderful study abroad experience in Morocco and enjoyed learning through her work with 3 different internships two in Miami and one in NYC. Following graduation, Nicole plans to look for work while researching Master’s programs. Her family and friends are very proud of her and thank God for taking care of her during her time at school.


Andreas is graduating from Akins High School at the top 5% and in the National Honors Society. He will attend A&M this Fall and he will pursue a degree in Physics. He likes to rebuild cars and build rockets. His plans are to make it to the Biomedical/Mechanical Engineer at A&M.


Gabriel graduates from McCallum High School where he participated in the McCallum Orchestra, and he founded a successful Nintendo Melee Club which has continued to grow in the last two years. He plans to attend the University of North Texas and to pursue an Electrical Engineering degree.


Graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Advertising with a minor in Business Sarah has been involved in the Texas Creative Portfolio Sequence, National Society of Leadership and Success, Gamma Beta Phi Society, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Her plan is to get a copywriting position at a creative ad agency. Her proud parents are John and Athena Shea & her proud Yia-Yia is Nici Kalogirou.


Nikolaos is graduating from Westwood High School and will be attending UT-Tyler this Fall to pursue a career in Accounting or Finance. He has four years of playing soccer for both Westwood High School and Lonestar and the last two years playing on Westwood’s Varsity team. He earned the highest rank of Boy Scouts – Eagle Scout.


Mark Saenz Jr. will be graduating from Anderson High School this Spring. During his four years at Anderson, Mark was a member of the Anderson Choir, a member of the guitar ensemble, and participated in the 3D printer club. He also played on the junior varsity lacrosse.


David is graduating from McNeil High School and will be attending the University of Iowa for a major in English and Creative Writing. He loves to write and play music. He plays classical guitar as part of the Austin Classical Guitar Youth Orchestra and he plays also violin in the McNeil High School Philharmonic Orchestra. His plans for the future include studying abroad in Dublin and publishing various forms of writing and screenwriting.


Our Costaki has graduated from high school, and is moving on to a new and brighter future in college! Being our first child, we dreamed about his graduation our whole lives. We could not be more excited for him and proud of all that he has achieved during high school. He graduated with Fine Arts, STEM, and IB endorsements, high achieving grades, and he participated in many groups in his community. Now, he is excited to attend UT at the Cockrell School of Engineering, majoring in Computational Engineering. We feel so blessed to have watched him come this far! Costaki, don’t forget we will always be here for you! Hook ‘Em!


Graduated distinguished with UT credits from Cedars International Academy. While in High School Elena was on the Student Council and participated in Key Club.  She will be attending Huston-Tillotson University in the Fall to study communications.


MaryKatherine Randol is graduating from Most Holy Theotokos Homeschool where she participated in Austin Community College’s Early Start Program. She will graduate concurrently from High School and ACC with an Associate of Arts in General Studies. She will also have earned her Level 1 Interpreter Certificate in ASL from the State of Texas. This Fall she will attend Hellenic College/Holy Cross in Boston, MA majoring in Human Growth and Development. At this time she plans to eventually pursue both Masters and Ph.D. in Psychology with an Emphasis in Cognition and Learning in order to train and pair Service Dogs with Handler (person who uses a Service Dog).
