Interested in learning the Greek Language?
Austin Greek School (aka Transfiguration Greek Language School) provides a safe and stimulating environment to learn the Greek language, culture and traditions. In addition to traditional classroom work, teaching methods include singing, dancing, and national holiday celebrations.
Classes are offered for elementary school age children, including pre-school (4 – 5 years old), as well as teen and adult beginners, intermediate and advanced beginners.
The school year runs from mid-September through the beginning of May, with classes meeting on Tuesday’s from 6:45-8:00 pm except for Greek Orthodox Holy Week, Spring Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s.
Classes are held at Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church, 414 St. Stephen’s School Road, 78746 (Just west of Loop 360 off Bee Caves Road)
