Orthodox College Fellowship (OCF)

Transfiguration is fortunate to be the new home parish of many college students, as they undertake their studies here in Austin, Texas.  In addition to welcoming students at all services and events, we sponsor our local OCF chapter:  Fr. Vasileios Flegas joins with Fr. Dave Lewis of St. Elias Orthodox Church as joint OCF chaplains.

The Orthodox Christian Fellowship (OCF) is the official collegiate campus ministry program under the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of North and Central America.  OCF chapters on college campuses are groups of students coming together to experience and witness to the Orthodox Christian Church through community life, prayer, service to others and study of the Faith.  Transfiguration is honored to be a part of this worthy mission.

Our pan-Orthodox Austin OCF group meets every Tuesday at 6:30 in the Campus Business Center (CBA4.344).  If you’re a college student in the Austin area, we invite you to join us.  Please call our office at (512) 329-6363 or email us at office@transfiguration.org.  We’d love to hear from you!

You’re welcome to join our Facebook group, University of Texas OCF, to keep up with all of the up-to-date event information:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/25214582527/?fref=ts
