The Philoptochos of Transfiguration has begun selling gift cards for anyone to purchase. These cards are from Great Lakes Scrip Center and come in many denominations for numerous stores and restaurants. Transfiguration receives a percentage of every sale that we make. That percentage ranges from 2% to 15% depending on the store or restaurant. You can visit their website at www.shopwithscrip.com (click on the ’shop’ tab at the top of the page) to see a complete list of all the vendors available.

Philoptochos keeps many HEB, Starbucks, Walgreen’s, Dunkin Donuts and several movie theater and restaurant cards on hand for you to purchase at any time. If you would like to purchase any of the other cards that GLS offers, all you have to do is let us know (either by calling the church office, or at the Philoptochos table on Sundays) and we can order them for you. It usually takes about one week to receive the cards.

This is such an easy way to help your church! It doesn’t cost you any more money than you were already planning to spend. All you have to do is plan ahead a little. If you have a special occasion coming up that requires a gift (graduations, weddings, birthdays)… cards are great! There are many restaurants from which to choose (and restaurants give a high percentage!).

Please remember your church before you shop! Contact us!
